In the midst of this economic downturn most folks
are very concerned right about now, while very little
thought is being given to the future. But as the people of
God we all know that the future is most important. What
will you do? Where will you spend the future?
In spite of what it looks like, with God as our Father,
Jesus as our Savior, and the Holy Spirit as our guide, we know that our future is secure.
It is with this confidence that we are assured that whatever is going on presently, will work for
our good. God promised us that it would! And brothers and sisters I believe that it will be as
God has said.
So let us build ourselves up on our most holy faith. It is for us beloved to make our most holy
faith the foundation of our lives! i.e. Let us build on the Word of God, that increases our faith,
and let us be both hearers and doers.
Jesus says to those who hear and do the will of God, that they are wise, for they have the
sense to build on the Rock. And Yes! The rains will come, the rivers will overflow, and the
winds will blow upon your house but it will stand and not fall, because it is built upon the
Rock. Jesus is the Rock of our salvation that will stand through all generations.
Build on the Rock, so that your future will be secure.
